– a historical soundscape recreation

This project is recreating some of the lost soundscapes of the past from a tiny ex-shale mining village located in west-central Scotland. The work was part of the soundscape module at Edinburgh Napier University. I have used period photographs to tell a short sonic story of each pictures bringing back some of the sounds of the village from the past.
